At Books for Humanity, we believe in the power of stories to change the world. That’s why we offer a free book review service, dedicated to amplifying the voices of authors from all walks of life. Whether you’re an indie author, a seasoned novelist, or somewhere in between, you can request a review for your book with no strings attached.
However, please note that while submitting a book is free, our reviewers have the autonomy to choose the books they wish to review. This ensures that each review is written with genuine passion and interest, bringing out the best in your work. To maximize the chances of getting your book reviewed, we prioritize books that are free or discounted, making them more accessible to our community of readers.
Due to our commitment to giving every author a fair opportunity, we can only offer one review per book and one book review per author. This policy helps us reach as many voices as possible within our community.
To stay updated on the status of your review, we encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on our social media channels. These platforms will keep you informed if and when your review goes live.
The current waiting time for a review is 1 week to 12 months. If your book has not been reviewed within 12 months of submission, it means that no reviewer has opted to take it on. But don’t worry—you are welcome to resubmit your book for another chance at a review.
We only publish book reviews where we rate books 5.0 out of 5 stars. From among these high-quality books, we may also pick a Book of the Week winner – a piece that stands out and deserves more than a perfect score.
If no review was published for your book, it means your book did not get a perfect score from us. If you wish to receive feedback for your book regardless of its rating, we recommend that you consider book review services of other providers such as The Chrysalis BREW Project, which offers free and reasonably priced options. If you choose to use The Chrysalis BREW Project’s paid services, apply the code HUMANITY10 for a 10% discount. The platform has also compiled a detailed list of book review blogs across various genres, offering you numerous alternatives.
We do not charge fees for our book review service.

Thus, if you already requested a free service from us before, please do not submit another request as your new request will be automatically cancelled. However, if your previous request was made more than 12 months ago and we have not published a review of your book, please feel free to lodge a new request.
